This week’s AP Top 25 is a little more stable than last week’s. Just two previously unranked teams cracked the poll and the top 5 was unchanged. Let’s take a look at some of the movement from the most recent AP Top 25 poll. Some information courtesy College Poll Archive.
The South Carolina Gamecocks make their first appearance in the Top 25 since the 9/4/2018 poll (72 polls).
The Illinois Fighting Illini hit their highest rank since reaching #16 in the 10/9/2011 poll (181 polls).
LSU and Tulane are both ranked for the first time since the 10/12/1998 poll (396 polls).
