The Tennessee Volunteers make their first appearance in the Top 5 since the 9/11/2005 poll (281 polls).
The Tulane Green Wave make their first appearance in the Top 25 since the final 1998 poll (386 polls).
The TCU Horned Frogs make their first appearance in the Top 10 since the 11/26/2017 poll (75 polls).
The UCLA Bruins make their first appearance in the Top 10 since the 9/27/2015 poll (116 polls).
