Gone But Not Forgotten: Bernie Parent (1945-2025)

One of the greatest to ever play between the pipes, Bernie Parent, has passed away at age 80. He is of course best remembered as the goalie for the Philadelphia Flyers during their Stanley Cup championship seasons of 1973-74 and 1974-75.

Parent, however, began his NHL career in 1965-66 with the Boston Bruins and was away from the Flyers for 3 seasons in the 1970s. During those years he was played for the Maple Leafs in the NHL and the Philadelphia Blazers of the WHA.
