The 2024-25 EFL League Two season has drawn to a close and it’s time to recognize the clubs that will be leaving via promotion for the Championship. This year the EFL League Two promotions are Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale, and Bradford City on points, and AFC Wimbledon from winning the playoffs.
Doncaster are returning to League One just three seasons after relegation. They’ve spend the majority of the past decade in the third flight. Port Vale has been on more of a yo-yo trip through the pyramid in recent years. They are back in League One after just one season in League Two. They had been in League One for two seasons.
Bradford City had the longest stint in League Two of the automatic promotion clubs, having played in it since 2019-20.
