The Name Remains the Same #4: Andy Reid

This time around, we have a same name from the world of football — American and English.

Up first is Andy Reid the American football coach, who has won three Super Bowls and is almost certainly going to the Hall of Fame. He is currently leading the Kansas City Chiefs but previously spent 14 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

On the opposite end of the NFL success spectrum is Andy Reid the running back. He graduated from Georgia and was drafted in 1976 by the Seahawks with the 349th overall pick. He never suited up for them but made his way to Buffalo as a free agent later in the season, where he played in one game for the Bills (although I can’t find a verified reference for that).

In fact, the best I can do is a photo from Andy’s Wikipedia article:

And lastly, in between these two is Andy Reid the soccer player. His senior career spanned more than 400 matches for six different clubs between 2000-2016. Here he is with Nottingham Forest, the bookend club for his career.
