I’ve come across quite a few programs that “borrow” quite liberally from Sports Illustrated‘s iconic cover design, and this minor league baseball scorecard is no exception. It’s a 1989 scorecard from the Stockton Ports (of California), who at the time were a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Ports, who started play in 1941, were the Brewers’ affiliate from 1979 through 2000. Since 2005 they’ve been affiliated with the Oakland A’s.
