Welcome to the Venues Portal on the SportsPaper Wiki. Venue is one of the major pieces of data recorded for the covers in this database and indicates the stadium, arena, field, or other physical location where a sporting event was held. Venue entries are logged and categorized based on where the source publication was issued but not what venue was pictured on the publication (although these can be the same). This means that venue will typically only be recorded for programs or scorecards but not necessarily media guides or yearbooks.
