The Hockey Hall of Fame just announced the slate of inductees<\/a> for its Class of 2025, and they include six players (Jennifer Botterill, Zdeno Ch\u00e1ra<\/a>, Brianna Decker, Duncan Keith<\/a>, Alexander Mogilny<\/a>, and Joe Thornton<\/a>) and two builders (Jack Parker and Dani\u00e8le Sauvageau). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jennifer Botterill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Botterill most notably played for Harvard and the Canadian women’s national team. She scored more than 100 points for the senior team and was part of four Olympic medal-winning squads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zdeno Ch\u00e1ra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ch\u00e1ra’s illustrious NHL career spanned more than two decades, during which time he amassed numerous awards and one Stanley Cup. He was also of the Slovakia national team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duncan Keith<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Duncan Keith spent nearly all of his NHL career with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was a four-time NHL All-Star and as named one of the\u00a0100 Greatest NHL Players\u00a0in history in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexander Mogilny<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alexander Mogilny was a veteran of Soviet-league hockey when he joined the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres in 1989. His best season was 1992-93, when he scored an amazing 76 goals and 127 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Thornton<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thornton was the first overall pick of the NHL draft and made his mark over his quarter century in the league. As of his induction, he will be one of only\u00a014 players with 1,000 NHL assists. He was also a four-time NHL All-Star with the Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Parker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Parker spent more than four decades at Boston University as either a player or coach, and compiled more than 900 wins behind the bench for the Terriers. Here he is on the cover of the 2002 Beanpot college hockey tournament (lower right).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
