{"id":7551,"date":"2025-06-25T11:58:50","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T16:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sportspaper.info\/blog\/?p=7551"},"modified":"2025-06-25T12:16:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T17:16:09","slug":"congrats-to-the-hockey-hall-of-fame-class-of-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sportspaper.info\/blog\/congrats-to-the-hockey-hall-of-fame-class-of-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Congrats to the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Hockey Hall of Fame <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/news\/zdeno-chara-joe-thornton-duncan-keith-alexander-mogilny-elected-to-hockey-hall-of-fame\">just announced the slate of inductees<\/a> for its Class of 2025, and they include six players (Jennifer Botterill, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/charazd01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.sportspaper.info&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-25_hr\">Zdeno Ch\u00e1ra<\/a>, Brianna Decker, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/keithdu01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.sportspaper.info&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-25_hr\">Duncan Keith<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/mogilal01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.sportspaper.info&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-25_hr\">Alexander Mogilny<\/a>, and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/thornjo01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.sportspaper.info&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-25_hr\">Joe Thornton<\/a>) and two builders (Jack Parker and Dani\u00e8le Sauvageau). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jennifer Botterill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Botterill most notably played for Harvard and the Canadian women&#8217;s national team. As of his induction, he will be one of only\u00a014 players with 1,000 NHL assists.
