The\u00a02024-25 EFL League Championship season\u00a0has drawn to a close and it\u2019s time to recognize the clubs that will be leaving via promotion for the Premier League. This year the EFL Championship promotions are Leeds United and Burnley on points, and Sunderland from winning the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leeds are back in the top flight after just a two-season stay in the Championship, while for Burnley it was just a one-year absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunderland, on the other hand, has been out of the the Prem for about a decade. Their last win in that division came on May 6, 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
