In 1967, as the day of the NFL-AFL merger was drawing ever closer, the National Football League issued a promotional booklet called “This Is NFL Football.” Each NFL franchise, presumably, received their own cover for the booklet, which covered basic league rules and football concepts.<\/p>\n

Here is a small gallery of cover images for the booklet, featuring custom images for the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, and St. Louis Cardinals.<\/p>\n
