Well not <em>that<\/em> CFL anyway. I&#8217;m referring to the long-defunct Continental Football League, which played from 1965-69. That CFL was primarily formed by minor-league teams that had played in the United and Atlantic Coast football leagues, and it bounced between full independent status and also had some aspirations to be a feeder league of the NFL.
