In recognition of Canadian Thanksgiving, I thought I’d share something special for my Canadian friends. And yeah it’s probably cliche to go the hockey route, but these were too cool to not share.\u00a0They are pages from a set of fantastic 1950s and 1960s\u00a0broadside advertising calendars and feature\u00a0two of the NHL’s Original Six franchises — the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. In fact, all but two of these pages pre-date the first NHL expansion season of 1967-68.<\/p>\n

Each page features a beautiful team photo and the team’s scheduled games for the month. Boy those reds and blues just pop off the page, don’t they?<\/p>\n
